No ticket maze, no chatbot pretending to be support. Pick your lane, and if the fast path doesn't solve it, the form goes straight to the team.

The form

Write to us. A person answers.

Your topic routes the message to the right queue, so it lands in front of the person who can actually act on it.

We only use your email to reply. It never appears anywhere public.

What happens next

The part most contact pages won't tell you.

01You get a confirmationRight away, to the email you gave, so you know it landed.
02Your topic routes itClaim disputes, removals and corrections each have their own queue with their own process, described below.
03A person replies from hello@notaryot.comAs soon as possible. We're a small team in California, and we answer in order.

No bots answer this form. Every reply is written by a person.

The three requests we take most seriously

Your record, your call.

These three touch your public listing, so each one has a defined process. Here's exactly how they work.

Claim disputes

Someone claimed my profile

If a profile with your name and commission number was claimed by someone who isn't you, we treat it as a possible impersonation and review it as a priority.

How it works

We lock the claim while we review. Identity is verified against the commission record, and the profile goes to its rightful holder. Include your commission number.

Removal requests

Take my listing down

Your listing comes from your state's public notary roster, but you don't have to be on our site. Ask, and we remove it.

How it works

We confirm the request came from the commission holder, then remove the listing promptly and keep it suppressed through future roster syncs.

Data corrections

My listing shows wrong information

We republish your Secretary of State's record exactly as the state publishes it, so if the state's record is wrong, our page will be too.

How it works

Correct the record with your state first; our next sync picks it up automatically. If our page differs from what the state currently publishes, tell us and we fix it on our side.

Prefer plain email? Same team, same inbox.

Everything above also works by writing to us directly. The form just routes faster because it carries the topic.

Questions, answered

Before you write

Do you have a phone number?

Not yet. We're a small team, and we'd rather answer email carefully than answer a phone badly. When we staff a phone line properly, the number will be on this page.

Can you tell me which document I need for my situation?

No. That's a legal question, and answering it would mean giving legal advice, which neither we nor any notary can do. What we can do is walk you through how notarizing a document works once you have it.

How fast will I hear back?

As soon as possible, in the order messages arrive. Claim disputes get priority, because a locked claim shouldn't stay locked longer than it has to.

I emailed but never got a reply.

Check spam for mail from notaryot.com first. If it's been more than two business days, write again through the form; the confirmation step will tell you immediately whether your message is reaching us.
